Animofic is a solo creative studio run by Abhishek Anand, based in Delhi NCR, India. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit this website or engage us for work, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
The short version: we collect only what's necessary to reply to you, deliver projects, and run this website. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with third parties except the specific services listed below. If you want us to delete anything we hold about you, email contact@animofic.com and we will.
1. Information we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, subject and message you submit. We use this only to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to coordinate the work.
When you visit any page, our hosting provider automatically logs standard web-server information — IP address, browser type, referrer, and pages viewed. This is used to diagnose issues and understand basic traffic patterns. It is not linked to your identity.
If you purchase a digital asset (such as Animofic Subtitler), payment is handled by our checkout partner (Freemius). We receive your name, email, and licence status from them — never your card details.
2. Cookies
This website uses minimal cookies. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. If we add analytics in future (e.g. Plausible, Fathom, or Google Analytics), we'll update this page and — where the law requires — ask you to opt in.
Embedded content (such as YouTube videos on our Work pages) may set cookies from those third-party platforms when you interact with them. Their policies apply.
3. Third-party services we use
- Web3Forms — receives contact-form submissions and forwards them to us. See Web3Forms' privacy policy.
- Freemius — processes payments for our digital products. See Freemius' privacy policy.
- YouTube (Google) — hosts the embedded videos on our Work pages. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on this site. See Google's privacy policy.
- Namecheap (cPanel hosting) — our web host and email provider. See Namecheap's privacy policy.
4. How long we keep it
Contact-form messages are kept as long as they're useful for a project or ongoing relationship. If you ask us to delete an old message, we will, within 30 days. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
5. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and, where applicable, the EU GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask us what personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
- Ask us to delete your data.
- Withdraw consent for future contact.
- Complain to a data-protection authority if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.

6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Contact-form data travels encrypted from your browser to Web3Forms and then to our email inbox. We use strong, unique passwords for all associated accounts and enable two-factor authentication wherever it's available. That said, no online service is 100% secure — please don't send sensitive personal or financial information through the contact form.
7. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has submitted personal data via this site, email us and we'll delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top and — if the change is significant — post a notice on the homepage for at least 30 days.
